Borim Bridge

the borim bridge The Old Borim Bridge is one of the haunted places in Goa. One of my friend told me about this incident that this was happened on 31st march 2010. Two friends Anuj and Satish returning home from their late night parties from Margao to Ponda. They saw a whome jumping from that bridge and the whomen jum but they didn’t hear the voice of the water then they went in their car. While reaching home they saw that the whomen was setting back of the car.

Ghost Hotel 

This hotel never got its name since it was never completely built. The hotel which was being built by the Russians never got completed due to legal inconvenience. However, the unfinished hotel and the surrounding area full of wild trees and bushes certainly make it quite a spooky place.

The hotel has come to be known as the Ghost Hotel after few people claiming to have experienced and witnessed some paranormal activities around the place. Once a man had did suicide in that place. People say that that man who did suicide his spirit stay there and they say that they have seen some one at 1pm every time.

Rodrigues House

   People say that the Rodrigues family still lives at this place. But they know that they died 70 years ago. It is said that the doors and windows of the house keep opening at will. People have also noticed the lights in the place .

The linens often disappear and appear out of nowhere in the midnight and the kitchen cutleries move on their own.

D’Mello House

    The D’Mello house is the most infamous of all haunted places in Goa. There used were two brothers who lived in the house. There was an ugly argument between the two brothers over the right to property and one brother killed another during the fight.

It is said that the house has hence been cursed and no one can even divide the property peacefully. There are many who have also heard shrieking sounds coming out of the house at night. It is often referred to as the ghosts of the brothers haunting the place.

Baytakhol

Baytakhol, another of the horror places in Goa, is located between Dhavali and Bori. Although hackneyed, talk of a woman who is seen crying out for help on the road. If someone crosses her and looks back, he’ll find an empty road only. A large number of accidents on the road has made this horror story very popular.

Jakni Bandh

Whether or not you believe in ghosts. The Janki Bandh is a temporary bridge connecting Drampur and Navelim. In an unfortunate accident, a school bus full of kids and their parents toppled over the bridge.

The driver’s mistake cost the lives of all those of those kids on board. After that, there have been various people claiming to have heard the wails and cries of the children while passing the place.

NH 17 Mumbai-Goa Highway   There is almost always some ghost story associated with various highways. But this one, in particular, is quite an old one. It is said that the highway is haunted by the spirits of three old witches. Quite interestingly, the spirits of these witches roam about in search of non-veg food.

It is said by the locals that carrying non-veg food after dark is not advisable while going through this highway.

Igorchem bandh

This is a stretch of road located close to the Church of Our Lady of Snows. While most ghost stories are all about haunting by the night, the ghost here seems to be present during broad daylight.

As per the residents of the place an evil spirit will possess anyone walking through this stretch of road between 2 pm and 3 pm.

Three kings church” is a church in village cansaulim, 15 km far from velsao in south Goa. People who sometimes liked a walk around the church or at the time of evening when church generally going to close, the felt sometime uncanny feelings and presence of some strong personalities.

Those phantom beings never hurt anyone. But at least one can feel them. People feared after understand that someone is there beside them.
